Let me tell you about my story, how I got started in metalworking, and why I continue to create and learn these techniques.

Metalwork and smithing are ancient disciplines, dating all the way back to human discovery of precious metals. In pre-industrial times, smiths were considered high on the social ladder for their necessity in supplying farming equipment and tools for warfare. As more metalwork became abundant, more individuals wanted their tools to stand out and be seen as identifiable. More than ever, we are constantly looking for new styles to keep up with the trends of fashion. But along the way, many of these pieces blur into one.
With hand engraving, each piece is truly a story. Every curve, every angle is a stroke of the artist’s own. No machine can replicate the unique application of this fading art form. Each piece is truly custom made, whether a brainchild of my own or a design of your desire.
